Behaviour Support Practitioner
With a diverse background in the disability and mental health sectors. Prior to her role as a Behaviour Support
Practitioner, Lauren has held various roles, including support work for individuals with complex mental health
needs and academic note-taking for university students with disabilities. This practical experience has contributed
to her development of a compassionate, person-centred approach to behaviour support.
In addition to her professional practice, Lauren is currently pursuing a part-time PhD in psychological research,
further enhancing her academic and analytical expertise. She holds a degree in Psychological Science from the
University of Tasmania and a degree in Arts Management from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts,
demonstrating a unique combination of scientific knowledge and creative thinking.
When not working, Lauren can be found watching movies, drawing and hanging out with her 2kg Maltese x Pomeranian dog, Stewie.
