Amelia's areas of special interest include psychosocial disability, dementias and supporting people with an autism profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance.

Genevieve

Behaviour Support Practitioner

With seven years of experience across aged care, mental health, and disability, Genevieve has built a well-rounded and compassionate approach to supporting others. She’s worked in a variety of roles over the years, including as a team leader in a disability organisation, where she supported both clients and staff through day-to-day challenges and more complex behavioural needs. She began her studies with a Diploma of Counselling before moving on to complete a dual Bachelor degree in Psychology and Counselling.

This mix of hands-on experience and academic training has helped shape her person-centred, trauma-informed style of practice. Along the way, Genevieve also ran a small counselling group focused on diversity and discrimination in the workplace—something she’s passionate about and continues to advocate for in her work. Outside of work, she’s a creative soul. You can usually find her behind a camera, making music, or exploring new creative ideas wherever they show up.

Marie

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Marie is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and certification as a Behaviour Analyst. Drawing on her professional expertise and her lived experience as a parent of a neurodivergent child, Marie combines empathy, insight, and clinical skill to build authentic partnerships with the people she supports.

She is particularly passionate about helping individuals and families advocate for themselves and feel confident in having their voices heard. Marie values collaborative approaches and works closely with clients, families, and wider support networks to design practical, meaningful strategies that promote wellbeing, independence, and connection.

As a practitioner, Marie is dedicated to enhancing quality of life, reducing restrictive practices, and fostering environments where people can thrive. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a strengths-based mindset to every interaction, ensuring support is empowering, respectful, and aligned with each person’s goals.
