Nadhuva Husein
Regional Clinical Manager - South East Melbourne
Nadhuva Husein is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and a Regional Clinical Manager for one of CPBS's South East Melbourne teams, with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and autism support. Originally from the Maldives, Nadhuva has spent the last eight years living and working in Australia, collaborating with children, families, and professionals to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes for the neurodiverse population.
Starting her career as an Early Childhood Teacher in 2001, Nadhuva discovered her passion for supporting children on the autism spectrum. In 2013, she earned a Master's in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of Bangor, Wales, and became a BCBA in 2017. Since then, Nadhuva has remained dedicated to staying at the forefront of evidence-based practices, continually expanding her knowledge and refining her clinical skills.
Nadhuva specialises in building positive, individualised interventions that empower children with autism and their families to thrive. Her areas of expertise include creating personalised support strategies, training and educating families and stakeholders, and supervising the professional growth of aspiring clinicians. A key focus of Nadhuva's work is fostering strong, trusting relationships with learners, families, and clinicians, guiding them through challenges while celebrating successes, no matter the scale.
Outside of work, Nadhuva enjoys playing music and watching films, finding both to be inspiring outlets for creativity and relaxation.
